Working with two agents was helpful because they bring a combination of skills that you often don’t get with just one agent. We consulted with both of them based on our specific concerns and their specific specializations. Buying and selling during the pandemic was trying on our emotions as prices were constantly fluctuating, so it was incredibly reassuring to have agents who knew the market well, and knew how to strategize as the market kept shifting. I tend to follow the real estate market myself by scouring over the sold data on the internet, so I often fall into the trap of thinking agents are extraneous. I was proved wrong with my experience with these two. No amount of buyer knowledge can compare with the knowledge of experienced real estate agents who have been in the field for several years. Lisa was able to quickly pivot in our house selling strategies when the market quickly changed during the pandemic, so that we still got our price regardless of the chaos of the market. Lauren was incredibly detail oriented and never left any box unchecked. She staged our house perfectly with an awareness of what brings buyers in and was one of the most hard working people that I’ve come across. Our house was vacant during our sale, and Lauren managed the property throughout with timely updates every night. We purchased out of town, and Lauren was always game for our jaunts to obscure rural properties. My wife and I would often reflect in amazement at her hard work and dedication to her clients.
